DRAMA

Seven members of our drama group were treading the boards of the Rainbow Factory Studio on Sunday 4th July, at Youth Action's Creative Legacies Festival "Mix Up"

They told the story of two young people from Belfast who met at a disco, fell in love for the first time but also encountered prejudice and sectarianism for the first time from their friends. One was a catholic, the other a protestant.

A brilliant performance. Thought provoking. Scary.

Congratulations to Conor Loughlin, Padraigin Mervyn, Debi-Lee Holland, Courtney McQuillan, Matthew McGarrigan, Dannie Curley and Niall Kavanagh.

Special thanks to Sinead McKenna for all her hard work with the group.

And to the staff of Youth Action who have supported the project through their community leadership programme.
